Local support group are jumping to raise awareness of dyspraxia
The Dyspraxia Foundation Tamworth Support Group (DFTSG) are hosting a family fun day and sponsored bounce to raise awareness of Dyspraxia at The Wilnecote School Sports Hall on Saturday 15th of October between 9:30- 11:30 and TCR fm will be bringing you coverage of it throughout the morning.
The event is in aid of National Dyspraxia Awareness Week, which runs from 9th -15th October, and is an open invitation to families to come along and join in with the 'bouncy fun', where the excellent facilities on site will be opened to the public between these hours.
The day's entertainment will also include a bouncy castle and a raffle, while refreshments and tasty home-baked treats will also be available at the charity cake sale taking place at the same time.
All of the proceeds from the cake sale and the activities will be used to fund the National Dyspraxia Foundation (NDF) as well as the local support group, who do great work locally and hold weekly trampoline sessions at the school for children with Dyspraxia and related learning disabilities.
