About 106.8 TCR fm

TCR fm is a brand new radio station for Tamworth, Staffordshire… but with a difference. We are a community radio station, run entirely by volunteers, and not-for-profit. All of our presenters work for the love of radio, it's a great experience whether you've always had an interest in radio or you want to volunteer for a hobby with a difference.

Our name is Total Choice Radio and that is what we are able to offer! Unlike commercial radio we don't have set playlists or guidelines on when certain genres of music can be played. Our presenters have total choice over what they play and they produce their own shows. Therefore our output is as unique as our team; one show can be completely different to the next. The choice extends to the listener too because you can pick the music not just on our live shows, but also by submitting requests via text message. See the schedule's Total Choice Lunch for more.

If you want to get involved with presenting, production or news on the station, we offer our radio training course so you can learn the ropes.  No previous experience is required but spaces are limited so please register your interest on the Training page and keep an eye on upcoming training dates.
