TCR fm is a community radio station in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Launched on 31st October 2009 we are run entirely by volunteers, and not-for-profit. All of our presenters work for the love of radio, it's a great experience whether you've always had an interest in radio or you want to volunteer for a hobby with a difference.

Our name is Total Choice Radio and that is what we are able to offer! Unlike commercial radio we don't have set playlists or guidelines on when certain genres of music can be played. Our presenters have total choice over what they play and they produce their own shows. Therefore our output is as unique as our team; one showcan be completely different to the next.

Expect brand new and favourite pop hits, some rock, a measure of eighties and everything else in between! We are aimed at the young population of Tamworth and the surrounding area and we're a bit different there too....

For urban songs listen to Jack Millman Fridays 6pm and Sundays from 9pm.

Every night at midnight it's one hour of non stop Northern Soul.

For alternative tastes check our Liam Matthews and Simon Piaia's Sundays Sessions Sunday from 4pm or 6 nights a week fron Sunday at 1am.

If you want to get involved with the station, we offer our radio training course so you can learn the ropes. We can train you even if you have no previous experience, and we also welcome more experienced volunteers.
