The Lambs travel to National League North rivals Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday as they get their FA Cup campaign underway.
Tamworth will be looking to go further in this season's competition after losing at the first hurdle against Alfreton Town last season.
The Lambs have a proud record in the FA Cup in recent years against clubs such as Bristol City, Norwich, Stoke and Everton.
The game at Aggborough kicks off at 3pm with live coverage on The Sports Zone.
Mike Thomas returns with The Sports Zone this weekend featuring coverage of Tamworth FC as the club looks to try and secure a play off spot in the National League North.
The Lambs travel to local rivals Hednesford and our reporter Dave Clayton will be there to keep listeners up to date with reports throughout the game which kicks off at 3pm.
Tune in for all the goals as they go in from around the country in our regular Saturday afternoon football service including the classified results at 5.05pm.
Also between 5-6pm, Mike will be joined by Tamworth model Emma Cheshire who'll be chatting about her charity work and fundraising for the Animal Health Trust.
Tamworth's 2-1 victory over National League North leaders Solihull Moors has put the club back in contention for a possible play-off spot.
After experiencing a sticky patch, the Lambs have now secured three wins on the bounce to move them 7th in the table and just six points behind 5th placed Nuneaton.
Next up for Tamworth is a home clash with Stockport.
Mike Thomas is back this weekend with The Sports Zone including your regular Saturday afternoon football service.

The first match in 2016 for Tamworth sees the club travel to Derbyshire to face Alfreton.
After a good start to the season, the Lambs have had a disappointing Christmas losing three matches in a row including a 2-1 defeat to Alfreton at home on Boxing day.
Tamworth are now 7th in the National League North but six points adrift of the play-offs.
The 5th annual Tamworth 10k returns to the town next month and Tamworth community radio station 106.8 TCR FM have stepped in as main event sponsors.
It means the race, on Sunday October 11, will officially be known as the TCR FM TAMWORTH 10K for the first time.
At the official launch, Kevin Wilson and Paul Griffin from KP Events teamed up with the station’s sports presenter Mike Thomas in the studio to tell the people of the town all about the exciting new link up that’s a key partnership for both organisations.
Kevin Wilson of KP EVENTS said: “The new TCR FM TAMWORTH 10K is an important sporting occasion for the town as it sees hundreds of local runners and their friends mix with runners from all the over country. The race has a huge reputation amongst runners looking for a personal best time due to the largely flat terrain but also for the scenic nature of the 2 lap 5k circuit.
“TCR FM is a community station broadcasting to a loyal expanding audience, they’ll be broadcasting live on the morning itself, chatting to people and even runners in true London Marathon style!”
Mike Thomas from TCR FM added: “Sponsoring the Tamworth 10k is brilliant for TCR FM. The day itself is a fantastic occasion for the town and we can add to and capture live the unique atmosphere that is created in Castle Grounds. We are all very much looking forward to it - and hoping one of the team will actually be running it for a local charity too, will it be myself, watch this space“
Entries for the run are available via www.kpevents.net following the ‘enter an event’ link on the home page - the cost is £20/£18

There's a new face among the backroom team at The Lamb. George Delves has joined Tamworth FC as the new General Manager/Club Secretary.
The 31 year old has replaced the long-serving Rod Hadley who announced his retirement last month and has now left the club.
Delves boasts an impressive CV that includes three and-a-half years at Sheffield United, where he was involved in various coaching, administration and educational roles, and three years with Championship outfit, Derby County.
He said: "This is an exciting project to be involved with,” he said. “I have spoken at length to Bob Andrews and Steve Lathbury and they have outlined where they want to take this club over the next three to five years.
“I feel that I can come in and add some impetus to the club and help it move forward both on and off-the-field.
“On the field, I want to create a platform for Andy Morrell and Mike Fowler to be able to put the best team out that they can."
Lambs boss Andy Morrell is inviting one lucky Tamworth fan to be part of a team photo to be taken at The Lamb ground next month.
If you would like to be in with a chance to be that supporter it will cost just £2 for your name to go into the draw. The fundraising initiative will be launched at the meet the players’ night this Thursday evening where you will have the opportunity to put £2 in an envelope with your name and contact number written on it and be entered into the draw to be part of the team photo.
Further opportunities to submit your entry to be part of this draw will be at the game against Nuneaton on Saturday and against Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday 5 September. 'Buckets' will be provided at these games for you to put your envelope(s) into.
The lucky envelope will be drawn in the clubhouse after the game on 5 September and the winner notified at this time. All monies raised will be split between Teambuilder and TFC Supporters Club.
