Hi all, Midge here,

I am currently the oldest presenter on TCR fm, pushing 50 and a Grandad! My music tends to reflect my age!

I was born and bred in Tamworth and went to Woodhouse School...many years ago...

My earliest recollection of plaing music, was before I was old enough to go to school, I would sit at home and play Vinyl records on my brother and sister's Dansette Record Player...How many of you remember them??

When I was 14, I started DJ'ing at St John's Youth Club and when I turned 15, I started roady-ing for Johnny Slade and later became one of his DJ's. In the past, I have DJ'd approad in Spain, where I worked as a Club DJ and Corfu, where I worked as a DJ in the Hotel Bar...Some of my roles were: DJ, Karaoke Host, Compere, Bingo Caller and Quiz Master.

I run a mobile disco/karaoke in Tamworth and I specialise in Golden Oldies of course... ;-)

On my show you can expect to hear music from as far back as the 1940's right up to today's latest Choons! Also, I will add in a bit of chat and humour as well as random facts you never really need to know or find useful in a pub quiz!!
