Starting the weekend

Starting the weekend @ TCR fm with my show from 4 - 6pm on fridays.

What can you expect?

Well,

1st there is the music mix. You can expect anything from the 80's, 90's & today.

2nd is the Retro tv theme quiz. A little brain teaser of a quiz which plays 10-15secs of 3 tv themes, some old & some new. All you have to do is guess what they are. It's harder than you think!!

3rd is the recap of the top 10 singles chart.

And finally (if I can squeeze it in) is a new feature called Now & Then. This is where i will play 2 songs from the same Artist/group. First song will be their current single or song from current Album & Then there will be a song from their past.

A Little about myself

I was born in the QE Hospitial in 1970 & lived in Chelmsley Wood for my first 2 years. We then moved to Tamworth & was one of the first residents to move into the Glascote Heath estate when it was built. I still live in Tamworth with my Wife & 11 Yr old son. Tamworth is a great place to live with lots going on.

For a living I have done several jobs in my working life including Bar work, stock broker & window cleaner. Currently I work for a company that manufactor & build exterior parts for Major Car builders for which I have been working for past 13 Yrs.

Interests - Music (of course),camping, getting drunk*, going out with my mobile disco along with poppa smurf(see below)

* when applicable.

Why did you get into Radio?

Well why not. TCRfm offer a unique hobbie to get involved in. They offered training such as presenting, editing & much more. Its a great way to play all your favorite music as well as meet other people.
